Discovery Christian Academy strives to keep costs low for our families while providing excellent education. We are in the process of designing a scholarship program with the help of donors from local churches. If you would like financial assistance, please speak with Jenny Reese, the school principal. As the funds become available, we will do our best to match them to students in need.
Registration Fee: $75 per Child
Our Registration Fee is due with the Enrollment Application before scheduling your child’s assessment. This fee covers the costs of the enrollment process and is non-refundable.
Annual Tuition: $7,440 per Child
To help families afford Christian education for their children, we have broken our annual tuition into twelve monthly payments. The first payment of $620 is due July 1st, and the last payment is due June 1st. Students who join our school mid-year will have a prorated tuition based on the number of days remaining in the school year.
Textbooks/Materials Fee: $325 per Child
Although we use very few textbooks in a Project Based Learning environment, there is a myriad of resources and materials that enhance your child’s education. The Textbooks/Materials Fee is due on August 1st to give us time to place orders before school begins in September.
Student Tablet Deposit: $125 per Child
The Student Tablet Deposit is due on September 1st. Each child, kindergarten through second grade, will check out a pre-loaded tablet with specific apps that we will be using throughout the year. For example, Khan Academy will be used as an additional tool in math and language arts. Also, the tablets will help students “research” pre-assigned and safe information in Project Based Learning. Tablets that are returned at the end of the school year in good condition will reduce the June 1st installment of the annual tuition by $125.
Uniform Fee: $60 per Child
As with most private schools, uniforms are required at Discovery Christian Academy. The Uniform Fee provides each student with five polo shirts and is due on September 1st. Please refer to the Student Handbook for more information on our school dress code.
